Um, what she said.

Amy Mullis is one funny mom. But when she writes a post like this one - endearing and humorous all at the same time - then links her topic to the desperate plight of a mom with a premature son, who is in a hospital 2 hours away from home…
Well, then my emotions get ALL messed up. I don’t know whether to laugh at the antics of Amy and her sons or be sobered by the reality of what Mysti, mom of Simon, the newborn, is facing. (If you want, you can stop by this post at Mind Over Mullis for a laugh and a link to Simon’s story and an opportunity to contribute.) But here’s one thing I do know: God can strengthen a human’s body. Whether or not you can contribute financially, prayer with believing is powerful.
Check out this verse:
Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
By believing - not questioning, doubting or merely hoping - ye shall receive. If you pray for Simon, picture him healthy and full-grown, like Amy’s sons (described so well in her post). This is the will of God. How do I know? Look up 3 John 2 in your Bible. It doesn’t say “maybe.”
And if He meant “maybe,” He would have said “maybe.”

Carolyn–A compliment from you is one of my most favorite things. I knew this was one thing I could do to help. I’m not one to have more money than I can spend–if there is such a thing–but I can write. So I sat down and asked the Greatest Author of All to help me with the words for that post. He should get the glory–and the byline.
